Cookies and storage

The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The county search on the home page downloads the list of counties from this site and searches it in your browser; what you type is not sent anywhere.

Your location

The “Use my location” button on the home page asks your browser for your location, and your browser asks your permission first. The site uses the location only inside your browser, to find which county it falls in using county outlines downloaded from this site. Your location is not sent to this site or to anyone else, and it is not stored.

Hosting and visit counts

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles each request, which includes your IP address and browser type, to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse.
